1. What types of customers have you worked with?

We manage up to 250 during the peak of swimming season.  We manage pools for single parents, working families, service men and women stationed overseas, retirees, snowbirds with vacation homes, tenants, realtors, investors, and property management companies.

2. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We schedule a visit to your home for a free assesssment of your pool equipment and an in depth analysis of your water chemistry. We check the plumbing and equipment for air and water leaks and make sure the equipment is performing optimally. We get as complete a history of your past pool maintenance as we can.  We log all the information in our database for future reference.  We make recommendations based on our findings and go over them with you in detail.  If repairs are needed, we provide a written estimate and answer any and all questions you may have.

3. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We hold the California Contractor License D35.  We are green pool specialists and acid wash experts.

4. What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pool service company?

Ask what their level of experience is.  Do they have the CPO certification?  Does their website look professional and do they seem to pay attention to detail?  Do they have a knowledgeable office staff to answer the phone throughout the workweek or will you just get a voicemail? Do they monitor the phones throughout the weekend in case of emergencies? Good communication is important. If you are hiring a company for weekly pool service, do they leave a service slip indicating the time of service?   Is the company a “one man band” or do they have a staff of trained pool technicians?  Do they have an experienced repair tech who specializes only in repairs and installations, instead of a “jack of all trades” who will waste time and money by misdiagnosing a problem? Can they give you references?  Perhaps most importantly, do you feel comfortable that they will show up and do what they say they are going to do and alert you if there is a problem?

5. My last pool guy was good for the first month, but then they began servicing the pool on random days and, sometimes, I don’t think they showed up at all.  How do I know you won’t do the same?

Our pool techs always leave a service slip indicating what time they were there.  Your pool will always be serviced on the same day by the same pool tech.  You will be notified by the office if there is ever a change.  We are extremely selective about who represents our company.  All our pool techs are knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful of your property and your expectations.

6. Our pool company seemed to use a lot of chlorine and sometimes it would bother our eyes.  Is that normal?

No.  Too much chlorine is not healthy.  We stay within the safe parameters of the San Diego County Health Department.  We keep chlorine within the range of 3 – 5 ppm and PH between 7.4– 7.6.

7. You are more expensive than our last pool service.  Why should I pay more?

Perhaps the quality of service you were getting for less money is the reason you’re not still using that company. We aren’t the cheapest, but we offer value for your dollar.  We feel our prices are extremely fair and are a great value when you factor in what you’re getting flexible payment methods, professionalism, accountability, great communication from our knowledgeable office staff, and experienced, proactive pool techs who troubleshoot small problems before they turn into expensive repairs. In addition, we guarantee the safest, healthiest, cleanest pool water for you and your family to enjoy.
