Pool Scrubs started in early 2008 when Jeff and Justin, father and son, began to service pools in San Diego and the surrounding area, while Christine managed all the administration duties. The more we spoke to pool owners, the more we listened. Through trial and error, we built a systems approach throughout our business model, with the goal of continuously improving our performance of providing quality work and honest service.

Bootstrapping it all the way, we spent the first 4 years grinding it out in the field, riding together, making repairs, cleaning pools, whatever it took to keep customers happy and food on the table. All while working out of an apartment, a rented garage and 1 truck.

In 2015, we significantly reduced our coverage area, and focused in on a 15 mile radius around San Diego East County, while putting a second truck on the road. The reason behind this move was to improve customer service by reducing response time. If there ever is an issue, one of our techs can check it out same day in most cases.

 

By 2017, we were established enough to move into a much bigger location, and thanks to our customers giving us rave reviews, we’ve been growing ever since.

Pool Scrubs currently operates 3 trucks and serve more than 200 residential pool owners each month! With our Office Manager Christine in the office ready to take your call, we can promptly schedule a pool quote, service request, or an emergency repair by the next business day, sometimes same day.

​

We know pools, and more importantly, we know the challenges faced when maintaining a pool in San Diego county with the variations in climate. It’s not always easy, but we love what we do and we do it well!
